What is Disc?







DiSC is a behavioural assessment tool.


DiSC is used to describe the different types of behaviour styles and preferences that people are likely to display in different situations.


DiSC is a tool which helps both self-awareness and also helps to identify the styles of others.


DiSC can helps by building more effective teams, reducing conflict, better fit with job roles, creating closer connections with your clients and enhancing sales performance to name a few.



Disc History.







Based on the work of psychologist William Moulton Marston during the 1920s, DiSC is a simple and effective way to assess behavioural styles and preferences.


The basic principles are dependent on whether a person is task or people oriented or whether they are fast paced or more moderately paced. 


The tool creates a simple language which is relatable to everyday life, and which can easily be embedded into operational teams across an organisation.



Important to note!







There are four quadrants to the DiSC model, each representing a different DiSC style.


It is important to understand how the different styles interact together, keeping in mind that most people have a blend of two or even three of the different styles.


Once the principles of DiSC are understood, we can begin to predict how others may behave in certain situations, and adapt our own natural style to better meet the needs of others.

Workshop Overview:

Delegates will complete an Everything DiSC assessment prior to course.


This session introduces delegates to the principles of Everything DiSC®.


Delegates will receive a 20 page personalized report which explores their own DiSC® style, helps them to recognise the behavioural traits of the other styles, and most importantly, strategies on working more effectively with each of the other styles
